The Dooza Sulky was launched into the Harness Racing industry on Saturday 2nd February 2013 at Tapcorp Park and had a big win in the A.G Hunter Cup. Visiting Kiwi trainer Tim Butt had been keen to trial “The Dooza” on open class trotter Vulcan in an earlier race on the Hunter Cup program, and in a last minute stroke of good fortune Butt also geared up Mah Sish in the sulky later in the evening to win the $400,000 race.
The driver, Anthony Butt, is now a huge fan of the locally designed and built sulky, declaring “The Dooza Sulky helped me get over the line first!”
“Butt and Dooza combo set for the Inter Dominion”
The Inter Dominion is a harness racing competition that has been contested since 1936 in Australia and New Zealand, and will commence on Saturday 16th February, with qualifying heats to be held throughout Australasia.
Following their fantastic win in the A.G. Hunter Cup earlier this month with the Dooza Sulky harness, the Mah Sish team – with driver Anthony Butt and trainer Tim Butt, are again using the winning “Dooza” in the upcoming Inter Dominion with every expectation to conquer the tracks yet again.
